Well, your logic makes sense, thanks for explaining. I chose not to pick a contender for the thread – and so I probably shouldn’t have jumped on your choice. The song appeals to me on many levels, but not necessarily from the limited recorded versions we have, which are kind of rough, I agree. I found myself originally writing a fairly lengthy response, which was a good exercise putting insights into words, but I’ll save it for another time. I’m sure the Hunter/Garcia song debate will come up again!

No worries my man. When I first heard that song I thought everyone would hate it then found out it has tons of fans. When I first came to the forum I assumed Barton hall would be the overwhelming choice for best show of all time, then found out it doesn't make some people's top 20. It never hols to "assume"
